The Francis Leather Company is committed to supplying a premium product while adhering to the highest level of control regarding the tracing, sustainability and processing of our raw material. We are proud to be the only Wagyu leather supplier in the UK.
We have secured a stream of superior quality raw material which we process into wet blue. This can then be coloured and finished to the very highest standard according to each customer's unique specifications by our close working partners. The Francis Leather Company provides a bespoke leather cutting service alongside bespoke colouring and finishing.
Fully Traceable
We only work with farms and abattoirs where we can guarantee that the highest standards of animal welfare and husbandry have been attained. The animals are traced via their passports by herd, then by markings through the tannery so we can trace our product back to the herd of origin.
SustainabILITY
Our hides are sourced from farms where the herds are totally sustainable and organic, working with rare breed farmers, organic farmers, the Sustainable Food Trust and the respective abattoirs. All our hides are tanned and finished in the UK to our very high standards, working with our partners so we may attain the very best quality while keeping our carbon footprint down.
